Job summary
Muslim Community & Health Center (MCHC) is expanding and seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team at a new South Milwaukee location. You will provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, coordinating with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to support health maintenance and disease prevention.
The role requires a Wisconsin RN license, a nursing degree from an accredited program, and CPR/BLS certification.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current Wisconsin state license as a registered nurse.
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS Certification or become CPR/BLS certified prior to working in a patient care
Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered nursing care in outpatient setting.
- Assess patient needs and coordinate care with clinicians.
- Document all patient care in medical records (electronic or written).
- Educate patients as directed by physician with age-appropriate care.
- Enter physician orders into clinical information systems.
- Triage patient status by phone and in person; advise appropriately.
- Plan, organize and optimize daily workflow to maximize patient throughput.
