Muslim Community & Health Center in South Milwaukee is expanding and seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team as we open a new location.

The MA supports clinical and administrative tasks, including pre-visit screenings, vital signs, EMR documentation, immunizations, labs, and care coordination in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Anticipated Start Date: November 2, 2026; full-time, Monday–Friday, with comprehensive benefits and a team-focused, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or MA program preferred.
• Certification: CMA preferred; CPR certification required.
• Experience: 2+ years in outpatient clinic or healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-visit screenings and obtain vital signs.
• Record patient history and visit information into the EMR.
• Assist with provider-led exams and in-office procedures.
• Conduct and document point-of-care testing and immunizations.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and restock supplies.
• Respond to medical emergencies per clinic protocol.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments and referrals.
• Review and process lab/test results; route to providers.
