Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in the United States is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP 1 track within the Clinical Advancement Program. You will assess, plan, and coordinate care for patients undergoing hemodialysis, implementing physician orders and educating patients and families.

The role includes collaboration with RNs, LVN/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians, adherence to policy and safety standards, and participation in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Entry level RN with less than 2 years in nephrology nursing.
• Dialysis experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform essential nursing duties under supervision and with guidance from Clinical Educator or RN leaders.
• Assess and document patient data during pre-, during-, and post-hemodialysis.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and treatment options.
• Administer medications per physician orders or approved algorithms.
• Participate in emergency response and quality improvement activities.
• Ensure proper laboratory collection, processing and documentation.

Skills

Entry level RN (Nephrology)

Dialysis experience (preferred)

Education

Graduation from accredited School of Nursing

RN state licensure

CPR/BLS Certification
