Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care in Idaho is seeking an entry-level Registered Nurse for the Outpatient CAP position. You will provide and coordinate clinically competent care, perform assessments, planning, intervention and evaluation for an assigned group of patients undergoing hemodialysis, under supervision.

As part of the ESKD health care team, you may delegate tasks to care staff, participate in education, quality improvement, and travel to training sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current appropriate state RN licensure and CPR/BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs essential RN functions under supervision and with guidance.
• Collects and analyzes patient data during hemodialysis and documents in medical record.
• Educates patients and family about learning needs and treatment plans.
• Delivers safe hemodialysis therapy and delegates tasks to care staff as needed.
• Initiates emergency response measures and supports team training.
