Job summary

Barrow-Brain-and-Spin is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and coordinate patient care in an outpatient/ASC setting in Phoenix, AZ. The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes and adherence to nursing standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in nursing, current BCLS, and 2+ years of related experience. ACLS is preferred and EMR proficiency is expected. The position emphasizes professional development and adherence to HIPAA and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
• Current BCLS certification required; ACLS certification strongly preferred.
• At least two years of experience in an outpatient/ASC setting or hospital environment.
• Previous Medical/Surgical or Pain Management experience strongly preferred.
• AthenaOne/Athena EMR experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs all nursing duties in compliance with the Arizona State Board of Nursing – Nurse Practice Act.
• Assesss patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural needs and plan care.
• Review patient history with patient/family and document in chart within required timelines.
• Review diagnostics and laboratory data and report abnormal results to physicians and caregivers.
• Implement the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, and supervision of the health care team.
