Job summary

Blick Rothenberg, PLLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver and coordinate patient care in a busy office setting. You will collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality outcomes and efficient service.

Responsibilities include triage, post-op teaching, chart reviews, and adherence to HIPAA. Requires a nursing degree, active AZ license, BCLS, and outpatient/ASC experience. EMR proficiency (AthenaOne) is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
Current BCLS certification required; ACLS certification strongly preferred.
At least two (2) years of experience in an out-patient / ASC setting or hospital environment.

Responsibilities

Performs all nursing duties in compliance with the Arizona State Board of Nursing -Nurse Practice Act.
Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, and cultural and care planning needs.
Reviews patient history and physical (H & P) with patient/family and records into the patient’s chart.
Reviews diagnostics and laboratory data and reports abnormal results to the physician(s) and other appropriate caregivers.
Implements the plan of care through direct patient care, coordination, delegation, and supervision of the activities of the health care team.
Delegates appropriately and provides nursing supervision in the provision of care to patients by other licensed nurses and other personnel.
Promotes continuity of care by communicating to other caregivers the status of patients.
Maintains patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Assists with measuring and monitoring quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
