Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.

• Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
• Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.

Responsibilities

• Assess and document patient data pre, during, and post hemodialysis.
• Collaborate with team to plan and modify treatment plans.
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning.
• Administer prescribed medications and document effectiveness.
• Direct and assist with daily hemodialysis care and safety measures.
• Work under supervision and escalate to the nurse leader as needed.
