Legacy Rehabilitation and Living of Amarillo, TX is seeking an Outpatient Coordinator and Therapy Rehab Tech to support therapists, coordinate community referrals, and ensure efficient patient transport and setup in a busy outpatient setting.

You will assist therapists with scheduling, documentation, and coordination of care, while helping maintain a safe, welcoming environment and promoting community involvement.

• Excellent interpersonal communication with patients, families, and staff.
• Strong documentation skills for care records.
• Shows understanding of therapy practice and workflow.
• Demonstrates credibility and integrity in all interactions.
• Works well in a cohesive team and contributes positively to organizational goals.
• Able to manage the dynamic needs of a busy rehab department.

Responsibilities

• Build and strengthen relationships with referral sources by meeting with physicians, office managers, and community members.
• Identify and market to local physicians to address outpatient therapy needs.
• Assist the Director of Rehab with coordinating community events and campaigns.
• Manage outpatient therapy scheduling and coordinate with therapists to reschedule missed visits.
• Assist Therapists and Therapists Assistants and ensure patient transportation.
• Ensure safe and efficient patient transport and equipment setup/cleanup.
• Clean and maintain treatment areas and equipment daily.
• Report patient concerns to the DOR or supervising therapist.
