Responsibilities include front desk reception, cashier duties, and maintaining smooth daily operations while ensuring HIPAA compliance and professional service within a unionized, 1.0 FTE schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a medical front office or therapy clinic is preferred.
• Strong understanding of insurance authorization processes.
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and scanning workflows.
• Ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Register patients upon arrival, verify demographics, update insurance information.
• Provide patients with intake/registration packets and assist with completion.
• Scan all required documents into the EMR promptly and accurately.
• Schedule new and returning patients; maintain full and efficient schedules.
• Answer and direct incoming calls; greet front desk visitors and handle inquiries.
• Perform cashier duties and process patient payments; balance cash drawer.
