Job summary

Adventist HealthCare’s Outpatient Imaging team in Germantown, MD seeks a Registered Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging, assist radiologists, and uphold ALARA principles in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will hold an AMA/JRCERT-accredited radiography education, ARRT(R) certification, Maryland license, and BLS; 1 year radiography experience is preferred. 40-hour work week, day shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Graduate of AMA/JRCERT Accredited radiography program or an associate degree in Radiologic Technology.
• 1 year radiography experience preferred.
• ARRT R.T.(R) certification.
• Maryland Radiation Technologist license.
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging studies including portables, fluoroscopy, and OR cases.
• Identify patients, review orders, and select X-ray protocols to maximize quality and safety.
• Document in HIS/RIS/PACS/Envision and other systems.
• Assist radiologists in fluoroscopic procedures.
