Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a part-time Registered Nurse for its Downtown Medical Group in Billings, MT. You will provide ambulatory care, triage, and nursing support in a pulmonary-focused outpatient setting, following established protocols and patient-care standards.

The role requires an RN license, BLS/ACLS certification, and at least 1 year of clinic or acute care nursing. On-site schedule is 30 hours weekly, Monday–Thursday with a Friday half-day, within a supportive multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• BLS or ACLS is required.
• One (1) year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs, and health risk factors; assesses disease condition.
• Provides patient care based on guidelines, standards of care, and laws.
• Administers medications and monitors treatment progress; coordinates with physicians and other providers.
• Educates patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Documents data using medical records systems.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes.
• Tracks quality assurance data and monitors chronic care management.
