Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Downtown Medical Group in Billings, MT. The role focuses on ambulatory care, triage, and coordination with the pulmonary team in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, administering medications, patient education, and documentation. Minimum qualifications include RN license and BLS/ACLS; 1 year clinic or acute hospital experience is required. Benefits eligible and 30 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• One year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general nursing care to patients following established standards and procedures.
• Obtain patient consent and maintain confidentiality.
• Document health history, vital signs, and health risk factors; assess disease condition.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor treatment progress.
• Educate patients and families about health status and management of conditions.
• Collaborate with physicians and health team members to improve patient care processes.
• Track quality assurance data and monitor for acute and chronic care management.
