Job summary

Intermountain Health, Billings Medical Group, Downtown Medical Center, is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide ambulatory care in the pulmonary-focused clinic team. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in an outpatient setting, coordinating with physicians and health professionals.

The role requires an RN license, BLS/ACLS, and clinic experience. Benefits eligible with shift Mon-Thu and Fri half-day. Montana location, 30 weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current/valid Registered Nurse license from the state licensing board is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.
• One year related experience in a clinic or acute hospital nursing setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs general nursing care to patients by following established standards and procedures.
• Obtains patient consent for care and ensures patient confidentiality.
• Obtains and documents health history, vital signs, and health risk factors and assesses disease condition.
• Provides patient care based on practice guidelines, standards of care, and laws and regulations.
• Executes prescribed treatments and medications, monitors progress, and refers to physicians as needed.
• Educates patients and families about health status, maintenance, and management of conditions.
• Documents patient assessment and intervention data using medical records systems.
• Participates in multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care processes.
• Tracks quality assurance data and monitors management of acute and chronic care.
