Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking an experienced full-time Physical Therapist Assistant for outpatient care in New York. You will assist the PT in delivering personalized treatment plans, supervise exercises, and document progress in the EMR while maintaining patient safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate holds an NY PTA license and has 3+ years of hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training, and close patient communication.

Qualifications

• PTA licensed to practice in New York.
• 3+ years of experience as a licensed PTA.
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises and functional training.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in patient care under supervision of a PT.
• Follow the Plan of Care and state practice guidelines.
• Educates patients on exercises and recovery.
• Document in EMR and report issues to PT.
