Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a motivated full-time Physical Therapist Assistant in New York. You will work under a supervising PT to implement personalized treatment plans, perform exercises, and document progress.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant in New York State.
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Ability to communicate and instruct effectively.
• Ability to delegate appropriate support care to non-licensed staff.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in patient care under supervision of a PT.
• Follow the Plan of Care and state guidelines.
• Instructs patients on exercises and recovery.
• Document in the EMR and report progress to PT.
• Maintain patient safety, confidentiality, and clinic standards.
• Assist with equipment setup and patient education.
