Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join outpatient clinics across Nassau County, NY. The PTA will support PTs in delivering personalized treatment plans and participate in patient care at multiple clinic sites.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed PTA in New York state.
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises and functional training.
• Ability to educate patients and modify plans as needed.

Responsibilities

• Actively participates in patient care under supervision of PT.
• Follow Plan of Care and state practice guidelines.
• Instructs and counsels patients in exercises and recovery.
• Completes documentation in the EMR to support services.
• Maintains confidentiality and a safe environment.
