Job summary

Metro Physical & Aquatic Therapy, a comprehensive outpatient therapy group in New York, seeks an experienced Physical Therapist Assistant to join full-time. You will work under supervision to deliver individualized treatment plans with a supportive team, modern space and equipment, and opportunities for growth.

Requirements include NY PTA license and 3+ years of hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises and modalities, strong communication, and the ability to guide aides.

Qualifications

• NY PTA license required.
• 3+ years of experience as a licensed PTA.
• Hands-on experience with therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Ability to communicate and instruct effectively.
• Ability to delegate appropriate support care to non-licensed staff.

Responsibilities

• Participates in patient care under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Follows Plan of Care within state guidelines.
• Educates patients on exercises and recovery.
• Completes documentation in the EMR.
• Supports safe and functional patient progress.
