Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in the State of New York.
• Experience with therapeutic exercises, functional training and physical modalities is preferred.
• Strong communication and instructional abilities are required.
• Ability to delegate appropriate support care to non-licensed staff and guide training.

Responsibilities

• Participate in patient care under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Follow Plan of Care and state practice guidelines.
• Instruct and counsel patients on exercises and recovery.
• Document in the EMR and coordinate with PT for daily notes.
