Innovative Therapy Concepts seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant to join Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, GA. This full-time position supports a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team, handles therapeutic exercises, gait training, and patient education under a PTA and PT supervision.

The ideal candidate graduated CAPTE-accredited PTA program, holds an active PTA license, and demonstrates strong communication and patient‑centered care.

Qualifications

• Must have CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant with active license required.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• New graduates welcome; mentorship provided.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatments to patients under direction of Physical Therapist.
• Performs active and passive manual therapy, modalities, and therapeutic exercises.
• Instructs and assists patients to improve functional activities.
• Observes and reports patient progress to Physical Therapist.
• Fits patients for braces, prostheses, and assistive devices.
• Collaborates with PT staff and health team members on treatment planning.
• Gives orientation to new PTA staff and directs PT Aides.
