Qualifications

• Graduation from a Physical Therapy Assistant School accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
• Licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Georgia.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs therapy procedures and care plans under the direction of a licensed therapist.
• Supervises support staff and handles administrative duties in support of patient care.
• Plans treatment schedules to optimize staff and equipment use for high-quality patient services.
• Maintains documentation including daily charges for services rendered.
• Participates in team conferences and professional development activities.
