Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program with solid clinical fundamentals.
• Excellent communication and people skills essential for collaboration with therapists, patients, and families.
• Demonstrated professionalism, dependability, and ethical conduct in clinical settings.

Responsibilities

• Administers physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Assists with active and passive therapeutic modalities and therapeutic exercises.
• Instructs and motivates patients to improve functional activities and mobility.
• Observes patient responses, reports progress, and adjusts plans with the PT.
• Fits and trains patients in the use of braces, prostheses, and assistive devices.
