Qualifications

• Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Administers active and passive physical therapy treatments under supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Instructs patients to learn and improve functional activities such as ambulation and daily living tasks.
• Monitors patient progress and reports to the supervising PT.
• Gives orientation to new staff and helps train aides.
• Maintains clerical duties and assists with inventory as needed.
