Job summary

UofL Health is seeking a licensed therapist to evaluate and treat patients at the Frazier Rehab Institute—Med Center East in Louisville, KY. Responsibilities include developing and implementing treatment plans, performing evaluations, and coordinating discharge planning.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, monitor progress, and ensure documentation and charges meet regulatory standards. Licensing in KY or IN and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Education: BS, MS or Doctorate level degree from accredited college or University (required).
• Experience: Varies based on practice setting and programmatic needs of the facility (required).
• Licensure: Licensed or eligible in the Commonwealth of Kentucky or State of Indiana, as appropriate to the facility (required).
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and implements competent therapy treatment and provides regular re-assessments for treatment modification.
• Communicates patient status to physicians and therapy customers with timely written or verbal updates.
• Maintains effective working relations with patients, families, internal and external customers.
• Demonstrates understanding of the financial implications of treatment costs and resources.
• Ensures patient charges and clinical documentation comply with regulatory standards.
• Oversees rehab technicians, therapy assistants, and students.
• Self-monitors workflow to ensure productivity and regulatory compliance.
• Participates in program development, performance improvement activities, and community events.
