Job summary

GBMC HealthCare is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate patients, develop and monitor treatment plans, and work across multiple locations including Owings Mills, Timonium, and GBMC Hospital. The role emphasizes patient education, documentation, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.

New graduates are welcome; Maryland license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Physical Therapy required; new grads welcome
• Current Maryland Physical Therapist license required
• CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient's functional status and medical history.
• Set short- and long-term goals with patient input and plan of care.
• Apply therapeutic interventions and progress treatment plans.
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Techs, and volunteers as appropriate.
• Communicate evaluation findings and patient progress to the multidisciplinary team.
• Engage with patients and caregivers to reduce anxiety and gain cooperation.
• Participate in performance improvement activities and ongoing education.
