Kingfisher Recruiting is seeking an experienced Outpatient Physical Therapist for a clinic-based setting in Ithaca, NY. You will work with a diverse patient population across orthopedic and general outpatient care, guiding patients through their recovery with evidence-based treatments.

Formación

• Outpatient PT experience preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible for a valid NY Physical Therapist license at time of hire.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds independently; frequent standing, walking, bending and moving patients.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Administer therapies including exercises, manual therapy, modalities (ultrasound, heat/ice, electrical stimulation), and patient education.
• Educate patients on exercise programs, posture correction, and injury prevention to ensure long-term recovery.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Document treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policies and standards.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized outpatient clinic environment.
