Job summary

BayCare Bartow Medical Center is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist to deliver patient-centered evaluations and individualized treatment plans in a busy hospital setting. You will assess mobility and pain, design personalized therapy programs, and guide patients through exercises and education.

Qualifications

• Required BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Required PT (Physical Therapy)
• Or PT (Physical Therapy) Eligible to obtain
• Or PT (Physical Therapy) Temporary and licensure within 6 months
• Required Bachelor’s Physical Therapy
• Preferred 1 year Physical Therapist

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients’ physical function, mobility, and pain levels.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and advanced modalities.
• Provide education on posture, body mechanics, and home exercise programs to promote long-term wellness.
• Utilize specialized techniques such as joint mobilization, neuromuscular facilitation, and gait training.
• Document patient progress and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards of practice.
