Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for Bartow Regional Medical Center in Bartow, FL. This full-time position offers a dynamic clinical setting focused on patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.

The role requires a PT with current licensure or eligible within 6 months, BLS, and a commitment to delivering high-quality therapy. Typical hours are 8:00 am–5:00 pm with occasional weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Evaluates patients' physical function, mobility, and pain levels.
• Develops and implements individualized treatment plans with therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Provides education on posture, body mechanics, and home exercise programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough evaluations of patients’ physical function, mobility, and pain levels.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and advanced modalities.
• Provide education on posture, body mechanics, and home exercise programs to promote long-term wellness.
• Utilize specialized techniques such as joint mobilization, neuromuscular facilitation, and gait training.
• Document patient progress and adjust care plans to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and professional standards of practice.

Requirements

• Required BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Required PT (Physical Therapy)
• Or PT (Physical Therapy) Eligible to obtain
• Or PT (Physical Therapy) Temporary and licensure within 6 months
• Required Bachelor's Physical Therapy
• Preferred 1 year Physical Therapist

Shift Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm/days
