Job summary

Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide at its Fernley location to support patient care by preparing treatment areas and assisting therapists.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after patient appointments.
• Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate treatment area.
• Assist the therapist with non-treatment aspects of therapy sessions.
• Demonstrate proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
• Ensure patient safety at all times and communicate issues to the therapist.
• Document activities and outcomes in the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Maintain clinic supplies and linens.
