Job summary

Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) is seeking a part-time Physical Therapy Aide (20-29 hrs) at our North Valleys Location to support patient care. The role involves preparing treatment areas, assisting therapists, and ensuring a smooth, safe patient experience in a busy outpatient clinic.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma/GED and customer service experience, with outpatient setting experience being a plus. Travel to other ROC locations may be required as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in customer service is preferred.
• Experience in outpatient setting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after patient appointments.
• Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate treatment area.
• Assist therapists with non-clinical aspects of therapy services.
• Demonstrate proper use of equipment and exercises.
• Ensure patient safety and communicate any concerns to the therapist.
• Document activities in the patient’s electronic medical record.
• Maintain clinic supplies and linens.
