Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our NV-based team. You will work under a Physical Therapist, manage a controlled patient load, and participate in documentation and care planning across ROC locations.

Qualifications

• Active Nevada Physical Therapy license from Nevada State Board within 60 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Support the patient care journey with the Physical Therapist
• Maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning and alleviate pain
• Review referrals and patient records to plan interventions
• Document goals, progress, and re-evaluation plans
• Measure and record strength, motor development, and functional capacity in EMR
• Analyze progress and adjust interventions to meet goals
• Educate patients on injury prevention and ergonomics
• Instruct on use of assistive devices and home exercises
• Discharge patients when goals are attained and arrange follow-up care
