Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) is hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to support the patient care journey under a supervising Physical Therapist across multiple Reno locations, including downtown and Sparks. You will help maintain, improve, or restore function and participate in planned interventions.

Qualifications

Active Nevada Physical Therapy license from Nevada State Board within 60 days of employment.

Responsibilities

Support the patient care journey in conjunction with the Physical Therapist to maintain, improve, or restore physical functioning and alleviate pain.
Review referral and patient records to plan, implement, and assess intervention programs.
Identify goals, progress, and reevaluation plans; test and record strength and functional measures in the EMR.
Analyze patient progress and modify interventions to achieve outcomes; refer to other practitioners as needed.
Educate patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and home exercise programs.
Instruct patients in use of assistive devices and ensure continuation of care after discharge.
