Job summary

Mercy in Ardmore, OK seeks a Rehabilitation Physical Therapist to perform objective assessments and develop individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities include direct supervision of patients, indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians, and supervision of PT assistants per State Practice Acts. Current PT licensure and BLS are required, with 6–12 months' rehab experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor, Master of Science in Physical Therapy or Doctorate of Physical Therapy.
• Current/Temporary license of Physical Therapy in state of practice.
• BLS certified.
• Certifications must be current before care for patients independently.
• Six months to one year experience in Rehabilitation Physical Therapy preferred.
• Experience with adult and geriatric patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform objective assessments and develop comprehensive individualized treatment programs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Provide direct supervision to patients and indirect supervision of rehabilitation technicians.
• Supervise PT assistants in accordance with State Practice Acts.
