Job summary

Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital's Integrative Medicine department seeks an experienced behavioral health therapist for full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday 9:00 am–5:30 pm. The role focuses on delivering individual therapy, crisis intervention, and coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate holds an Illinois LCSW or LCPC license and a Master’s degree in Social Work or Psychology, with at least one year of behavioral health experience, and strong documentation

Qualifications

• Must hold LCSW or LCPC licensed in Illinois.
• Master's degree in Social Work or Psychology required.
• Typically 1 year of therapy experience in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Provides quality individual therapy focused on patient diagnosis and needs.
• Provides crisis intervention to patients as needed.
• Performs comprehensive assessments and develops treatment plans per department policies.
• Provides case management and education to patient and family as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and continuity of care with internal and external services.
