Job summary

Yellowstone Boys and Girls Ranch, Inc. is seeking a Program Therapist to join our interdisciplinary care team supporting youth facing emotional, behavioral, and psychiatric challenges.

You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based therapy across school, community, and home settings. You will work with families, engage in telehealth when needed, and ensure compliance with Montana Medicaid and CBS Administrators PQI standards.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or similar field.
• License to operate a passenger vehicle.
• Criminal/Child Abuse clearance per Montana requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and family therapy to youth in school, community, and home settings.
• Conduct mental health assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Engage with parents/guardians and caregivers.
• Deliver therapy in person and via telehealth.
• Intervene in crises calmly to ensure safety.
• Complete and verify clinical paperwork (assessments, plans, notes).
• Collaborate with treatment team and stakeholders; participate in meetings.
• Participate in supervision and coordinate services with schools and community agencies.
• Maintain knowledge of Montana Medicaid and YBGR Licensure rules.
