Qualifications

• Proficiency in basic math and data entry.
• Ability to read and interpret physician orders and patient information.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
• Bi-lingual abilities are preferred but not required.

Responsabilités

• Schedule and register patients requiring phone interaction to organize and coordinate patient and facility needs.
• Obtain patient demographics and insurance information, completing forms and data input.
• Obtain insurance authorization and precertification within required time frames and document information.
• Assemble complete patient folders with signatures and documentation for ancillary departments.
• Review precertification letters as required.
• Maintain open communication with staff and physicians regarding schedule changes.
• Assist in training new staff and maintain a neat, orderly work area.
• Adjust duties as directed by management to optimize scheduling efficiency.
