Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration is seeking a physician to provide outpatient medical care within VA guidelines. You will diagnose, treat, and manage patient care, document thoroughly in the EMR, and collaborate with the primary care team. Work hours are 8:00am–4:30pm, Monday through Friday.

US licensure and completion of an approved residency are required; board certification may be needed for faculty. The role offers EDRP loan repayment, competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

  • Must have MD/DO or equivalent in allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
  • Current full and unrestricted U.S. license to practice medicine.
  • Residency training in an approved core specialty with eligibility for board certification.
  • Possible PRP pathway for residents as applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage outpatient medical care for Veterans.
  • Document all medical care in the EMR and maintain accurate records.
  • Lead and participate in continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Collaborate with Primary Care Team to manage a patient panel.
