Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a physician to provide outpatient primary care to Veterans in a VA facility, with an 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule, Monday through Friday. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient care, documentation, and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• MD degree from an approved school
• Full and unrestricted medical license in the US
• Residency in an approved core specialty leading to board eligibility

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage patient care as a primary care physician
• Provide outpatient services to Veterans and manage a patient panel
• Document care and orders in the electronic medical record and participate in quality improvement
