Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care in specialty clinics across Texas. The role requires current Texas PA license and NCCPA certification, with prescriptive authority and supervision by a physician.

You will work in areas such as Palliative Care, Pulmonary, Endocrinology, Cardiology, and more. Responsibilities include performing exams, ordering tests, developing treatment plans, counseling patients, and maintaining medical records.

Qualifications

• Requires Texas PA license and NCCPA certification.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Prescriptive authority under supervising physician.

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive or focused physical examinations and histories.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory tests and other diagnostics.
• Prescribes or recommends therapies and develops treatment plans.
• Counsels patients and families about medical processes, medications, and health promotion.
• Maintains accurate records of treatment plans and outcomes.
