Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to provide direct patient care in specialty clinics. You will assess patients, order and interpret tests, prescribe therapies, and collaborate with physicians to develop treatment plans. The role requires a TX PA license, NCCPA certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Schedule varies with 8a–5p hours; part-time possibilities may exist. Prior clinical experience is valued but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Texas PA license and NCCPA certification required.
• Current BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Less than 1 year of clinical experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive physical examinations and obtain medical histories.
• Order, interpret, and evaluate lab tests and other diagnostics.
• Prescribe or recommend therapies; implement treatment plans.
• Counsel patients and families on medical processes, medications, and health promotion.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and outcomes; coordinate referrals.
• Provide specialty clinic support in designated areas.
