Job summary

DHR Health in Edinburg, TX seeks a qualified Physical Therapist Assistant for full-time day shift in Rehabilitation Services. The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited PTA program with TX licensure, strong organizational and communication skills, and a preference for outpatient rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Current physical therapist assistant license in the State of Texas.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Prefer outpatient rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Promotes the facility mission, vision and values in service delivery.
• Provides treatment as directed by the staff physical therapist.
• Observes and evaluates treatment effects and discusses with therapist.
• Performs assessments and reassessments of patients as per policy.
• Assists with teaching plans and patient/family education.
