Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
• Current Texas PTA license is required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides treatment as directed by the supervising physical therapist.
• Observes and evaluates treatment effects and reports to PT.
• Assists with teaching plans and patient/family education.
• Demonstrates knowledge of physical therapy modalities and equipment.
• Maintains department safety, cleanliness and infection-control practices.
