Job summary

Reno Orthopedic Center (ROC) is seeking a Physical Therapy Aide to support patient care at our North Valleys Location. The role involves preparing treatment areas, assisting therapists, and ensuring a safe, efficient patient experience.

You will greet patients, help with non-clinical tasks, maintain supplies, and follow universal precautions to support rehabilitation in a collaborative healthcare setting at ROC. This hands-on position is ideal for detail-oriented team players.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience providing customer service.
• Preference for experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas and equipment before and after patient appointments.
• Greet patients and direct them to the appropriate treatment area.
• Assist the therapist with non-clinical aspects of therapy services.
• Demonstrate proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
• Ensure patient safety at all times and communicate any risk factors to the therapist.
• Document activities, exercises, and outcomes in the patient\'s electronic medical record as directed by the therapist.
• Maintain adequate clinic supplies and linens.
