Job summary

Advocate Health is hiring multiple full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist I positions in the Greater Charlotte area to support Orthopedic and Neurological patients across Carolinas Rehabilitation locations. Hours are 40 per week with a pay range of $35.50 to $53.25 per hour.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy, a state license, and BLS certification. The role involves evaluation, plan development, documentation, and supervision of PTA/Tech staff to support discharge

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Applicable state license for Physical Therapy is required.
• BLS certification per policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates patients and establishes a patient care plan.
• Gathers data from medical records and family as evidenced by documentation.
• Sets functional goals and provides evidenced-based interventions with ongoing reassessment.
• Documents evaluations, tests, progress notes, discharge notes and charges.
• Communicates progress to physicians and coordinates schedules and discharge planning.
• Supervises PTAs and Rehab Tech/Aide as required for licensure.
