Job summary

Protouch Staffing is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) for an outpatient clinic in Edison, NJ. The PT will evaluate patients, develop individualized plans, and provide evidence-based therapy to restore function, mobility, and reduce pain.

The role involves a 40-hour work week, with Monday–Friday scheduling, and requires NJ licensure, DPT or equivalent, NPTE completion, and CPR/BLS certification. Compensation includes standard benefits and a yearly bonus.

Qualifications

• DPT or MS in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Successful NPTE completion.
• Active NJ PT license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Strong knowledge of modalities and exercise prescription.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Experience in outpatient/orthopedic rehab preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical abilities and functional needs.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on goals.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and pain management.
• Educate patients and families on rehab, injury prevention, home exercises.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other therapists to optimize care.
• Document evaluations, plans, progress, and outcomes in the EHR.
• Adhere to healthcare regulations and safety standards.
• Contribute to initiatives to improve patient outcomes and clinic operations.
