Job summary

Meritas Advisory Group, LLC seeks a dedicated Outpatient Physical Therapist for our Ithaca, NY clinic. You will assess and treat patients in an orthopedic/outpatient setting, develop individualized plans, and educate patients to optimize recovery and function.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ongoing professional development, and a patient-centered approach in a premier outpatient clinic.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient physical therapy settings preferred.
• Must hold or be eligible for a valid Physical Therapist license in NY at time of hire.
• DPT or equivalent required from an accredited program.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Administer therapies including exercises, manual therapy, modalities, and patient education.
• Educate patients on exercises, posture, and injury prevention.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Document plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries per policy.
