Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is seeking a full-time Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our patient-first system in Illinois. This role offers a $7,500 sign-on bonus and an hourly compensation range of $45.00–$60.75 with a 40-hour work week.

The successful candidate will provide direct patient care, participate in teaching, and contribute to departmental processes. A Illinois-licensed PT with a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy and BLS is required; a Master's or Doctoral degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in State of Illinois
• BLS from American Heart Association upon hire
• Masters or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates NM values of teamwork, patients first, integrity, and excellence in daily work and interactions.
• Presents a friendly, approachable, professional demeanor and appearance.
• Provides accurate information and timely updates to patients and customers and directs them to the appropriate resources.
• Maintains primary responsibility over patient plan of care through collaboration with treating PT/PTA(s).
• Demonstrates teamwork by helping co-workers within and across departments and communicates effectively.
• Uses EMR to document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Completes daily notes reflecting patient response to treatment and status related to treatment plan.
