Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is hiring an Outpatient Physical Therapist for full-time day shift in Naperville. The role includes direct patient care, teaching, and program improvement within Rehabilitation Services. The candidate must be a licensed Physical Therapist in Illinois with a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy and current BLS certification. Masters/Doctoral degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in State of Illinois.
• BLS from American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates NM values of teamwork, patients first, integrity, and excellence in daily work and interactions.
• Provides accurate information and timely updates to patients and customers; directs to appropriate resources.
• Maintains primary responsibility over patient plan of care through collaboration with treating PT/PTA(s).
• Completes daily notes reflecting patient response, motive, and discharge readiness while meeting EMR documentation requirements.
• Participates in department processes, committees, and special projects per department expectations.
• Assists in education and mentorship of students and interns.
