Job summary

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree or higher in physical therapy from an accredited program.
• BLS certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in PA or NJ, based on work location.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive initial evaluations and develop treatment plans to improve movement, reduce pain, restore function and prevent disability.
• Provide skilled interventions using appropriate techniques, modalities and equipment tailored to patient needs.
• Collaborate with patients to set short- and long-term goals.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families and other health care providers while maintaining confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
• Monitor and document patient progress, outcomes and satisfaction with services.
