Job summary

Boston Medical Center in Dorchester, MA is seeking an Outpatient Physical Therapist for per diem schedules at the South Bay location. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote mobility and independence.

Responsibilities include evaluating patients, setting realistic goals, guiding patients and caregivers, documenting care, and contributing to education for students and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Massachusetts license by time of hire; CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and document findings according to department guidelines.
• Establish and adjust measurable treatment goals with patient and caregiver.
• Educate patients and caregivers on evaluation findings and home care plan.
• Collaborate with rehabilitation team to coordinate care and follow-up.
• Supervise student training and participate in department education.
