Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Phlebotomist-Outpatient to join our Edward Hospital outpatient team in Naperville, IL. This part-time role (0.5 FTE, about 20 hours/week) offers weekday daytime hours with occasional weekends and holidays as needed.

You will collect, label and log specimens, perform pre-analytical processing, enter patient data in the lab system, and coordinate specimen flow with the laboratory staff. A phlebotomy program and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a phlebotomy training program with 100 clinical hours.
• Current CPR (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association.
• Valid Illinois driver's license and auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, collect, log and label specimens for testing under supervision.
• Perform pre-analytical processing and ordering of specimens.
• Register patient information and orders in the lab system.
• Arrange specimens for further processing by Laboratory staff.
